The Corney & Barrow City Treasure Hunt
Sociable, active and ideal for team building or ice breaking. Our treasure hunt is like no other. Navigate through the Square Mile, completing clues and stopping off at 3 Corney & Barrow bars for a swift blind wine tasting!
How does it work?
All guests meet and mingle with a Champagne reception at a Corney & Barrow Bar of your choice.
You will all be briefed on the rules of the game and each team will be given their treasure hunt pack.
Teams then have an hour to follow their clues and get back to the bar – with 3 blind wine tastings thrown in for good measure along the route!
Once everyone is back, the scores will be counted and the winning team will receive a bottle of Champagne. After all that dashing about, the party really starts. Enjoy a fantastic selection of wines & beers served with delicious canapés.
The Corney & Barrow treasure hunt – £57.95 per person
This evening includes a glass of Champagne on arrival, wines to taste during the challenges, one bottle of Marquis de Lissac Sauvignon, Merlot St Esteve or four bottles of Kirin Ichiban per person, Corney & Barrow Canapé menu A and a bottle of Champagne for the winner.
As with all our events, the Treasure Hunt can be adapted according to your needs, please let us know if you would like to choose different wines or canapés.
Corporate Croquet at Exchange Square
Corney & Barrow’s Corporate Golf Croquet evenings make fantastic team building events as well as a really great way to entertain clients and colleagues. With packages that can be tailored to meet any company’s individual requirements, we can make sure your evening goes with a swing!
Evenings include complimentary use of all equipment, exclusive use of the Exchange Square lawn and an experienced Corney & Barrow steward on hand to host your evening.
We are taking bookings now.
Hire charge is £500 Monday –Tuesday and £750 Wednesday – Friday and includes all of the following:
- Exclusive use of the Lawn at Exchange Square
- Complimentary use of all equipment (including mallets, waistcoats, balls, and hoops)
- An experienced steward to host and referee your evening.
- Tailor-made mini league on the evening to suit your requirements

Corney & Barrow Gold Croquet League
The C&B Golf Croquet League has become a City institution. It is a highly popular event, taking place throughout May, June & July with around 50 teams of two taking part. We are now taking entries for the compeition.
The league starts on May 28th and places are going fast to be sure to enter!

To cover administrative expenses there is a £60 entry fee for each team with £20 from each entry donated to Corney and Barrow's nominated charity for 2012.
Wine tasting events
All our wine tasting events can be adapted to make them ideal for team building.
The Corney & Barrow wine challenge works particularly well! Teams battle it out in a series of blind wine tastings combined with quiz questions.
To help the team bonding we devise a bespoke quiz for each event. For example, if you are entertaining a new intake we could include a round on your company values.
